Dragon Universal Arcade Gameboard Kit is jus what you need to upgrade that old fish hutner gaming cabinet, and is perfect for operators looking to revive their locations with a new and exciting game and boost revenue.

This ocean-themed, video redemption arcade game is suitable for 6 or 8 player cabinets and puts players in a skirmish to catch fish to earn points. Players catch fish usign their joystick to aim and ‘SHOOT’ button to fire a net which will catch the fish. Using the ‘WEAPON’ change button,  players will be able to change between their different guns, including the special weapon Machine Gun for fast paced, guns blazing action! The Machine Gun can be accessed by pushing the joystick upwards twice.

The control panel also feature a ‘PAYOUT’ button and a coin acceptor/key in function for credits. The unique key in/out function gives the operator control of credits and payouts, preventing most theft.

Dragon Universal features a number of fun mini games as well, which make the gameplay more challenging, making the game engaging for players of all ages and skill levels. These features help to maximise points and the features will appear randomly during the course of the game, so players must be quick to catch them! The full list of feature mini games in Dragon Universal includes:

<b>-Vortex Fish -</b> when a player catches a fish with the Vortex feature, the fish captures all the same fish near it for the player. Each fish except for Devilfish, Shark, Killer Whales, Humpback Whales and the Crabs, can have a Vortex feature.

<b>-Lightning Chain -</b> players can get up to nine different kinds of fish at once, which are subject to Lightning Chain. Thes fish include: Snapper, Clown Fish, Butterfly Fish, Fugu, Lionfish, Flounder, Lobster, Spearfish and Octopus.

<b>-Explosive Crab –</b> when this crab is caught, it triggers a large explosion making it easier for players to catch fish damaged by the blast. Also, the points for fish caught by the explosion will go straight to the player who triggered the crab.

<b>-Laser Crab –</b> capturing the Laser Crab gives the player a special weapon – one laser beam shot! They have a limited time to aim and shoot to try and catch the biggest fish/character or the most fish at once.

<b>- Electromagnetic Crab:</b> the player who catches this crab can set their direction and it will shoot one electromagnetic field and catch fish in the set range. Not all of the fish in range can be caught though, so be selective.

<b>-Roulette Crab –</b> catching this crab will begin the Golden Roulette bonus game. A golden roulette wheel appears on screen in front of the player who caught the crab and will start spinning. Players simply press the ‘SHOOT’ button to stop the spinning and they will win the points indicated by the wheel. The inner roulette ring scores the highest points.

There are 21 types of fish in the Dragon Universal video redemption arcade game. These characters include: the magnificent Golden Dragon (worth x300-500), the Humpback Whale, Killer Whale, Roulette Crab (now worth x800), Saw Shark, Laser Crab, Electromagnetic Crab, Shark, Spearfish, Explosive Crab, Sea Turtle, Lobster, Octopus, Lantern Fish, Fugu, Devil Fish, Butterfly Fish, Clown Fish, Lion Fish, Flatfish, and the Flying Fish.

Key In / Key Out

This is a low cost and simple configuration option for operators. An operator will "key in" (with a key) on every machine or terminal that has this option in order to allow players to play and add credits. When the player has finished the game, the operator will “key out” (with a key) to end the session and the player can collect their points. This is suited for low end machines or machines that have low traffic / income.

Coin In / Hopper Out

This is a common configuration option suited for low value games and is also known as "Coin In/ Coin Out". This option entails players inserting coins in order to begin the game. Once the player has finished the game, the hopper will distribute coins according to the amount the money won during the game, for instance if the player won $20 the hopper will distribute eighty 25c pieces to the player. This is most appropriate for machines that have low winning potential due to its convenience and usability.

Coin In / Ticket Redemption

This option is normally used for prize redemption in arcade centres where players can redeem their tickets for gifts and prizes. This option involves players inserting coins to commence their game and once the game is completed they are presented with tickets reflecting the amount of points won during the game. For example, if a player earned 50 points during a game, they will be given 50 tickets. These tickets can then be redeemed for prizes or gifts.

Bill Acceptor / Thermal Printer

This option is most profitable for gaming machines that have a high earning potential. It involves players inserting notes in order to play the machine. Once the player has finished their game, they are presented with a print out of the amount of points or money won during the game. This print out can then be redeemed for prizes or money depending on your venue.

PlayPortal Cashless Card System

This is an innovative ‘tap and play’ cashless system. Players are able to load credits onto a PlayPortal Card, then the player taps this card onto a PlayPortal Card reader installed on an arcade or gaming machine in order to pay for play. Once the player has finished the game, the amounts of points won are stored on the PlayPortal Card. When the player has finished their session/game, they can use the points on their card to redeem prizes or money.
