Ocean King 2 Golden Legend is a dedicated 6 player, video redemption arcade game machine which features the iconic ocean theme that has become synonymous with the English version series over the years.
Ocean King 2 Golden Legend is the next English version game in the Ocean King series, and returns to the gaming scene in this latest version with more game features than ever.
This dedicated 6 player arcade machine comes in a large LED lit cabinet and features a large LCD screen with High Definition 3D rendered graphics, which brings each ocean themed stage vibrantly to life.
The aim of the game is for the player to catch as many fish as possible until the game time runs out. Each player has a weapon which has three power levels to help them catch different kinds of fish: Normal Speed, Accelerated Speed, and Aim for the Target.
HOW TO PLAY:
1. Insert coins for credits.
2. Press the power button and switch bets.
3. Press the joystick downwards twice and switch weapons.
4. Use the joystick to change the directions of the gun tube and aim it at your targets.
5. When you have locked in on a target, press the SHOOT button to fire. Also, if you keep hitting the SHOOT button it will accelerate the shooting speed.
6. When you hit a fish and/or it is successfully caught, players are rewarded with points.
7. When you have finished playing the game, press and hold the Payout button for 3 seconds.
In Ocean King 2 Golden Legend there are 17 different species of fish, 3 different crabs, three Jumbo Fish, and four BOSS characters. These fish characters have different values, so catching different fish will award more points than others, and these values are operator adjustable. The value can be set onto either a low Odds Level or a high Odds Level.
The fish species include Clown Fish, Lionfish, Flatfish, Flying Fish, Fugu, Butterfly Fish, Spearfish, Lantern Fish, Devilfish, Lobster, Octopus, Sea Turtle, Shark, Saw Shark, Whale King, Killer Whale and Blazing Dragon. The Clown Fish, Fugu, and Butterfly Fish are also Jumbo Fish.
The three types of crab characters also double as mini-game features players can use to earn more points! The characters include Super Bomb Crab, Laser Crab, and Drill Crab. While the four BOSS characters are super tough and will be hard for players to catch. The Boss characters are known as the Almighty Octopus, Emperor Crab, Darkness Monster, and Ancient Crocodile.
Ocean King 2 Golden Legend also features several fun and exciting mini-games which appear at random throughout the game and include both multiplayer and single player games. Mini-games include:
-Super Bomb Crab – catching a Super Bomb Crab will trigger the chained bomb attack in a wide explosion, affecting and/or catching many of the fish on the playfield at the time.
-Laser Crab – players who catch the Laser Crab will be rewarded with a special Laser Beam weapon for a limited time only – it’s a one shot weapon though, so use it wisely!
-Drill Crab – when a player catches a Drill Crab they receive a special ‘Breaking Drill weapon that fires penetrating drills around the playfield, giving players more chances to catch fish. After a while the drill explodes affecting and/or catching even more fish within range.
-Lightning Chain – when players catch a lightning chain fish, that fish will start catching other fish with lightning automatically until it runs out. Players then receive points to the value of all the fish caught. The following species can appear with the Lightning Chain effect: Flying Fish, Clown Fish, Butterfly Fish, Fugu, Lionfish, Flatfish, Lobster, Spearfish, and Octopus.
-Vortex Fish – catching a Vortex Fish will suck all the other fish of the same species on the playfield into a whirl pool. Species who can appear with the Vortex effect: Flying Fish, Clown Fish, Butterfly Fish, Fugu, Lionfish, Flatfish, Lobster, Spearfish, Octopus, Lantern Fish, Sea Turtle, and Saw Shark.
-Fire Storm – is a single player game that appears at random and is free to play for a limited time. The player who is awarded the mini-game will have their gun turned into a flamethrower temporarily, causing more damage to fish than using a normal gun; plus fish values are multiplied in this game. Players can also obtain additional time and multiply their score during the game.
-Golden Treasures – a multiplayer game which appears at random and runs for a limited. Players use a special searchlight to look for the Imperial Whale and the Golden Fish to get high scores. Players may also get a roulette treasure box that adds in or multiplies the total scores.

This is a low cost and simple configuration option for operators. An operator will "key in" (with a key) on every machine or terminal that has this option in order to allow players to play and add credits. When the player has finished the game, the operator will “key out” (with a key) to end the session and the player can collect their points. This is suited for low end machines or machines that have low traffic / income.
This is a common configuration option suited for low value games and is also known as "Coin In/ Coin Out". This option entails players inserting coins in order to begin the game. Once the player has finished the game, the hopper will distribute coins according to the amount the money won during the game, for instance if the player won $20 the hopper will distribute eighty 25c pieces to the player. This is most appropriate for machines that have low winning potential due to its convenience and usability.
This option is normally used for prize redemption in arcade centres where players can redeem their tickets for gifts and prizes. This option involves players inserting coins to commence their game and once the game is completed they are presented with tickets reflecting the amount of points won during the game. For example, if a player earned 50 points during a game, they will be given 50 tickets. These tickets can then be redeemed for prizes or gifts.
